Will Ladainain Tomlinson Ever Find His $25K Earrings?

The San Diego Chargers will be playing the Cowboys in Dallas, on Sunday. For running back Ladainian Tomlinson, this will be his second game against “The ‘boys” in Dallas. The last time he played there was his rookie season, 2001.
His Chargers won that game, but Tomlinson suffered a loss, earrings worth $25,000. Sometime during the first quarter of that game, he and his earrings got separated.
In an interview with fox5Sandiego.com, Tomlinson said:
“Here and there when I got tackled, kind of look around,” Tomlinson said. “I didn’t have a chance to really get out there and search. It was pretty much a done deal. They were gone.”
Asked if anybody ever found them, he replied, “Well I never heard anything about it,” Tomlinson said. “I’m pretty sure someone found them. The groundscrew I guarantee you found them.”
Actually, Tomlinson wasn’t all that choked up about losing his earrings.
They were insured.
