The wife found out and shot the chief with his own 9mm Beretta. She missed and got sentenced to 9 months in jail. No word as to whether the girlfriend liked the earrings.
Originally the chief told his wife that he had bought the other woman an “inexpensive” Christmas gift. Then the wife found out that the “inexpensive” gift cost more than the present the chief to her.
