Have an Earrings Swap Party

Tired of looking at some of those earrings in your drawer that are almost vintage, and you bought them (or got them as a gift) when they were new?

Think about having an Earrings Swap Party.

You can do it as an impromptu thing, and just call up some friends and tell them to bring some earrings, the ones that they think will be more appreciated if worn on somebody else’s ears.

Or you can really go to town and send out invitations, decorate the house, the whole nine yards.

Either way, the party will work better if you have two kinds of alcohol – - the drinking kind, and the kind you’ll need to go with the cotton swabs that you and your guests will use to clean the earring posts.

You might want to also encourage your guests to bring some mirrors.

It’s your party, so you can write the rules any way you want, but you should probably encourage your guests not to bring expensive earrings. That way, you can give each guest a card for every pair of earrings they bring. Then when it’s time to show “the loot”, whoever flashes a card first gets the pair that’s being displayed.

Check out this blogger’s details of actual earrings exchange.
